Diamond version 2.61.0.0 introduces important new features for Ford, Stellantis , and DAF vehicles, expanding the scope for intervention on latest-generation engine control units and making operations even faster and more efficient.
Ford vehicles equipped with Continental SID212 and SID212EVO control units , it is now possible to directly access the map area and internal EEPROM via the diagnostic socket, without having to first unlock the control unit. The procedures are faster, significantly reducing acquisition times and improving workshop operations.
The update also introduces support for Continental GPEC5 control units installed on Jeep and RAM vehicles , allowing unlocking in Boot mode and subsequent programming directly in OBD , eliminating the need to resort to external services and ensuring completely autonomous management of the process.
The release is completed by the new protocols dedicated to the Delphi ETC3 UDS control units installed on DAF heavy-duty vehicles , with support for OBD and Bench modes for reading, writing and memory cloning operations, further expanding the possibilities for intervention in the industrial vehicle sector.
