Diamond Update 2.57

The new Diamond 2.57.0.0 update further expands the operating possibilities, introducing advanced protocols to work on an increasingly wider range of engine and transmission control units, including the latest generation.

Among the main new features is support for Fomoco UTCU3 automatic transmissions installed on Ford vehicles with 6, 8, and 10-speed gearboxes. Thanks to programming via the OBD port , it is possible to intervene directly on the map quickly and precisely, improving the behavior and performance of the transmission without invasive operations.

The update also extends the functionality of FCA engine control units with mild hybrid systems, allowing for Bench mode work on Marelli 11GF units . This allows for simple and effective calibrations, resets, and cloning, without having to open the control unit. Simply read the complete backup of the damaged unit and transfer the data to a working unit, even without having both vehicles present in the workshop .

Significant improvements have also been made for the latest Iveco vehicles, including those produced after 2021 with Bosch MD1CS069 control units . In this case, it is possible to operate directly from the OBD diagnostic port , even bypassing the SGW module , or by connecting directly to the connector. Operations on the map are therefore immediate: error removal, performance optimization, and fuel consumption reduction are all achieved extremely quickly.

The real breakthrough, however, concerns the Continental SID212 and SID212EVO control units , which are increasingly widespread on latest-generation vehicles. Thanks to the new Bench protocol , it is now possible to perform virtual reading, real reading and writing directly in the workshop , without complex procedures.

The ECU can be unlocked directly at your workshop, completely eliminating the need to ship the unit . Once the procedure is completed, the ECU will also be programmable via OBD using the vehicle’s diagnostic port.

This means greater speed, total operational autonomy and much more efficient work management, allowing interventions on modern vehicles with advanced tools and without downtime.
