The Diamond 2.55.0.0 update introduces important compatibility extensions and new OBD programming protocols , designed to work more quickly, safely and flexibly on various latest-generation platforms.
is now available for Magneti Marelli 8GMC control units installed on Fiat 500s for the American market , with the possibility of operating in OBD , OBD on Bench and Bootloader .
The control unit can be read and programmed directly from the diagnostic socket; in the absence of the vehicle, it is possible to work on bench via the connector, while for cloning or recovery, boot mode with direct access to the PCB remains available.
The update also introduces the OBD protocol for the Continental SID213 and SID213EVO ECUs , fitted to new-generation Ford and Volkswagen vehicles with 2.0L EcoBlue and 2.0L TDI engines .
Thanks to direct access to the map area via OBD, it is now possible to make changes without opening the ECU or sending it to the workshop.
The update is completed by the new OBD protocols for the Vitesco EMS2910 and EMS2916 control units , installed on new-generation Ford vehicles with 2.0L EcoBoost , 2.3L EcoBoost , and 1.0L MHEV engines .
In these cases, too, access to the map area is directly via the diagnostic port, ensuring fast and safe operations without hardware intervention.
